This article highlights the undervaluation of early childhood education professionals, whose work, despite its critical impact on children’s development, is often underpaid and associated with high turnover. The use of reflective supervision/consultation (RSC) shows positive effects on job satisfaction, burnout, reflective functioning, and secondary trauma. Implementing RSC can strengthen the early childhood workforce and leadership, ultimately benefiting the children and families they serve.
